Will you find mermaids and schools of fish (decorative) swimming across the walls? It is possible, but your eyes may be drawn to that peaceful photograph of sailboats resting in the bay, that gold mirror adorned with a circle of sea turtles, and of course, the million dollar views visible through walls of windows, reminding you, that in this case at least, less can be so much more.

When you are this close to the beach, there is no way you won’t want to spend as much time as possible with your toes buried in the sand, frolicking in the surf, and basking in the California sunshine, and after a long day of beachy-keen fun, coming home to these oceanfront sanctuary will bring you joy and comfort. Many will offer outdoor showers, helping to keep all those tiny grains of sand outside where they belong and most will offer tile flooring that feels cool beneath bare feet and makes it easy to clean away the sand that somehow always manages to make it inside anyway.
Modern and bright, the living rooms may be furnished with that classic California appeal, but sofas will be plush, encouraging impromptu naps and binge watching your favorite shows. Maybe the television will stay turned off, however, and that comfy and overstuffed chair placed where the light and views of the ocean outside are best, and you will find yourself curled up in its welcoming depths, book in hand, and a nice glass of California white sitting on the nearby end table, sipping, savoring, and living in the magic being painted with the words on the pages inside.
