Let’s be honest…a Vacation Rental(s) is a full, active use of your property. It is imperative that we work together with our Owners in partnership to keep your Rental Property in excellent condition. Many of our Owners live within driving distance and most do a great job in keeping their property updated. Many other Owners are not willing, or able, to visit their beach property often, so we are the "eyes and ears!"
How do we assist in keeping properties in good condition? Simple, we perform Property Inspections before each check-in and again after the Guest checks out. A Penny Realty Associate will check your property for cleanliness, damage, light bulbs, vacuum bags, and the overall condition.
Our goals are aligned with yours…we care about your property and want to maximize your rental income, so we will keep all Owners abreast of any repairs and upgrades that may be beneficial to you and your Guests.
We respond quickly and professionally to Guest inquiries, Vacationing Guests, and Homeowners. Also, we respond to emergencies 24 hours a day. We provide all Guests with our after-hours emergency number.
Our Guest Services are second to none. We offer secure, online booking, personalized check-in services, timely maintenance repairs, and concierge services, to housekeeping, and inspections; our Staff takes care of Guests and vacation properties full-time!
We also offer a Free Loaner Program to our Vacationers, that includes boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, high chairs, play pens, sand toys, etc. All at no extra cost to your Guests!
One of the most important aspects of keeping Guests coming back year after year is cleanliness. You can be the lowest priced company in town, but if the property is not clean and maintained properly, they will not return. We hire only proven, reputable Professionals to clean behind each and every rental. Cleaning, laundry services, and miscellaneous supplies are included with every vacation rental.
We also offer deep cleaning services to get each property thoroughly cleaned in the off-season. Additionally, we can arrange for carpet, upholstery, and window cleaning, as needed.
Penny Realty ensures our properties are in great shape—safe, clean, and in good repair. We offer professional maintenance services with a timely response to maintenance problems and after-hours requests for emergency services 7 days/week. We use reliable, licensed and insured vendors who are qualified to handle most situations, at fair prices, with no additional mark-ups. We also offer a program to cover accidental damage.

Lastly, as an Owner, you are free to reserve and block your property as needed for your own personal use or for your family. We have no rules for the number of nights our Owners can use their Homes.

We are located in an architecturally unique Ocean View Office Building, on Mission Blvd., in between the main thorough-fares of Grand Ave. and Garnet Ave.
We offer in-house Interior Design and Property Improvement Services. Our on-staff Design Professional is available to offer a no-charge consultation and offer a Design/Improvement Plan to meet changing market demands and increase revenues to you.
As Vacation Rental and Real Estate professionals, we maximize the return on your investment property, earning you money when you are not using it. Professional marketing and excellent customer services earn Guest loyalty and repeat visits.
We keep the records—from rental income to repairs, from San Diego TOT Tax to 1099’s—you will receive professional monthly and year-to-date accounting. For your convenience, we offer direct deposit of your net rental income, at no charge, directly to your bank account. At the end of the year, a 1099 will be sent to you along with a year-end statement that your accountant will understand.
As your Agent, we are primarily accountable to you, the Property Owner. All Guests are required to sign a detailed rental agreement and review the policies. We rent to families and adult groups. We do everything we can to protect your home and your investment.
We maintain relationships with local officials and agencies—from tourism boards, to the local Northern Division Police Office in Pacific Beach, to the San Diego Chamber, and to the Better Business Bureau (with an A+ Rating!).
Penny Realty is licensed by the California Dept. of Real Estate. Therefore, we are also available to represent our Clients in the sale, acquisition, 1031 Exchange, or long-term lease of their property.
