Right near Old Town and overlooking San Diego’s bay, Mission Hills is a predominantly residential area and one of San Diego’s earliest neighborhoods. Due to its convenient access to downtown, Old Town, Hillcrest and other areas of the city, it has always been a popular location for single family homes built by some of San Diego’s most famous architects.
Many of the homes built before World War II still stand in the part of the community that makes up the Mission Hills Historical District. The homes reflect varied architectural styles including Craftsman, Spanish Revival, English Tudor, Prairie Style and others.
On Washington Street there is an area of well-established casual dining restaurants that have been operating over 20 years, including El Indio Mexican Restaurant, the Shakespeare Pub & Grill, Yoshino’s and others.
With great homes, a well-established community and easy access to all that San Diego has to offer, Mission Hills is a great place to call home!
