Mira Mesa Long Term Rentals
One of the top rated spots to live in San Diego is the city of Mira Mesa. With their centralized location, Mira Mesa long term rentals are a great way to live in San Diego for a good price while being close to everything. It is a perfect suburbia setting with great shopping and dining. If you are an outdoors lover, the Los Peñasquitos Canyon reserve is a popular place that locals go to hike or exercise. One of San Diego’s largest theaters is in the center of town next to some locally famous Asian themed restaurants.
Stay in one of our Mira Mesa long term rentals to experience all of San Diego. Quickly drive north to taste wine in the Temecula Valley, or head south to downtown and catch a San Diego Padres or San Diego Chargers game. Multiple freeways connect Mira Mesa to the rest of San Diego, including highway 56 that will take you to the famous north county beaches, or highway 52 that heads to the La Jolla and Mission Bay area. A 15 minute drive from your Mira Mesa long term rental can get you almost anywhere in San Diego, which is why it is a favorite place to live amongst locals.
Mira Mesa
This suburban city of the greater San Diego area is known for affordable homes, friendly communities, and easy access to nature. Once only accessible via the 15 freeway, Mira Mesa is now connected to Sorrento Valley, and North County by way of the 56 (Ted Williams Freeway) and the 805. This extension of San Diego city is a unique and thriving community, close enough to a number of great attractions to remain accessible, but far enough away to remain affordable.
If you are interested in spending some time in the Mira Mesa area, either for a vacation rental, long term rental, or ‘try before you buy’ trial period, there are a number of great things to check out in the area. See what makes Mira Mesa a unique San Diego community.
Edwards Mira Mesa IMAX 3D: The only place in the area that offers a 3D IMAX experience, the Edwards Mira Mesa Theater attracts people of all ages from all corners of San Diego. Catch a late night flick at the theater, or spend an afternoon enjoying the warm weather and nearby restaurants before cooling off in a crisp movie theater climate.
Asian Markets: Whether you’re a local San Diegan, or visiting from out of town, you cannot get much better Asian food than at some of the markets in the Mira Mesa area. Inland San Diego is known for its eclectic array of Asian businesses and markets, and for those of you with a fine-tuned taste for delicacies of the Orient, you’re sure to snag some amazing finds at a Mira Mesa market.
Farmer’s Market: Every Tuesday from 3-7pm, Mira Mesa High School hosts the Mira Mesa Farmer’s Market. Tons of vendors come out to supply the community with local produce, handmade crafts and more. Even if you’re not in the market for fruits and veggies, checking out the selection of items, and personalities of people, is always a fun way to spend an afternoon. If you are just visiting, you can support the community by picking up some farm-fresh fruits and veggies!
Miramar Lake: If you plan to stuff some nature hikes and outdoor activities into your stay in San Diego, you can’t go wrong with a day by Miramar Lake. This community lake and surrounding park is a great place to bring your family, go for a run, or enjoy a nice, leisurely walk around the lake. Be sure to pack a picnic, and just like any open area, be sure to bring friends and family members along for the day!
