Shane Flaherty, Vice President of Penny Realty, Inc., Director of Marketing and Human Resources has over 20 years experience in Marketing, Sales, Education, Administration, and Human Resource. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Design and Engineering and a Masters of Science Degree in Administration. Mrs. Flaherty also possesses a Licensed Administration Credential from the State of California.

Diana Valin, Director of Property Management has extensive experience in residential property management, beginning her career in the Chicago-area market approximately 25 years ago and managing assets throughout San Diego for the last 18 years. She has operated in various ownership structures, ranging from individual private owners to nationwide corporate entities, including institutional owners and in the highly-aggressive management environment of a REIT. She has earned her CPM designation and currently serves on the Executive Council of IREM as the V-P of Programs for the San Diego Chapter. She was voted CPM Candidate of the Year in 1998.

Don Hawthorne, Sales Manager has been in the Real Estate business for over 29 years. The past 22 years he has been both an active selling agent as well as the Sales Manager for Re/Max Coastal Properties and Penny Realty. He has been active in the San Diego & Point Loma/Ocean Beach Board of Realtors, and the Mission Bay Real Estate Association of which he was President in 1991 and a board member for eight years.
