Tecolote Canyon and Natural Park:
Tecolote Canyon’s 6.5 miles of trails are excellent for walkers, joggers, runners, and mountain bikers. The canyon runs through the center of Clairemont, and is one of the only remaining areas of the suburb that is completely undeveloped. In the mid 70’s it was declared a park, which will protect it from development for many years to come.
